Hey, I'm Josep.
Build for the Mountain is just me. I'm a coach, and I ski, climb, hike and head up mountains every chance I get.
Here's what I see all the time: people who live for the mountains but don't train until something hurts — then start from below zero. Others train hard, but for the gym, not their sport. And many are too busy, or too buried in information, to know where to start. Sooner or later, they start feeling it — more rest days, more stops on the way up, and a body they don't quite trust anymore.
I know the feeling. When I started skiing seriously, my knees and lower back were killing me. And it made sense: I'd never properly rehabbed my ankle sprains, and my work–couch–bed routine (with the occasional stretch or 10-minute knee fix) wasn't exactly getting me ready for the chaos of the mountains.
Every season I paid the price: the pains stacked up, I couldn't push as hard as I wanted, and it was getting harder to enjoy the mountains as much as I used to. My body was setting the limit.
So I learned my way out — from education, great mentors and a lot of trial and error on my own body. Now I help others find their way out too.
Here's what I build for you: a training program that adapts to your body, your mountain sport and your life. We start with whatever's holding you back — joint pain, mobility, strength, or all at once — and step by step, build you up until you stop for the view because you want to, not because you need to.
And you don't do it alone. I write your program, review your form every two weeks, get on a call with you every month if you want one, and answer your messages myself.
If you're ready to do the work, book a free call below.
